I like using a variety of mediums in my art- I'm something of a "jack of all trades". I make mixed media sculptures, drawings, paintings, and digital art. I've been influenced by monumental architecture and the works of M.C. Escher, Jacques-Louis David, Johann Wenzel Peter, and John Blanche. Some contemporary artists whose works I personally find inspiring are Fen De Villiers, Matthew Fall McKenzie, Soey Milk, and Xue Jiye.
I believe in the absolute rather than the relativistic. Form triumphs over the void; the individual rises above the dissociated state through becoming whole again; and the transcendental reveals its superiority to material limitations.
